Louisville Drug Use: Use Your Invisible Power – “There Is Always Another Choice”
Use your invisible power. “There is always another choice”. Michael J Fox, the actor, has Parkinson’s disease. He has a new book, “Optimism”, that has just been published. Recently there was a television special about his book. In the program he interviewed different people who had a medical problem or who had been injured. He wanted to discover why or what was their common theme. All of the people he interviewed had CHANGED THEIR LIVES, ADAPTED TO THEIR PROBLEMS, AND FOUND SOLUTIONS TO MAKE THEM FEEL GOOD. They used the power of their minds to discover their “purpose(s) in life”. The gift of “Giving” helped them to “feel Optimistic” even though their own personal problem had not been changed or solved. He also was interviewed and he talked about his life with Parkinson’s Disease. One of the quotes from the program was, “There is Always Another Choice.” Have there been times in your life when you felt that there was no solution to a problem? You wished you had another option or solution to a problem? Have you asked the question, “Well, what am I going to do now? I feel overwhelmed!” Michael J Fox’s answer is, “There is always another choice.”
Use your invisible power, YOUR MIND, YOUR THOUGHTS, to give you ANOTHER CHOICE. In the history of the human race we have had many medical problems and or diseases. We have used our mind to find solutions to these problems. An older man recently described to me how the miracle drug, penicillin, saved his life at the end of WWII when he had been injured and he had an infection. The disease, Polio, was rampant during the 40’s and 50’s until Dr. Salk along with others developed, “The Salk Vaccine”. Rotary International took that one step further in the 80’s and declared, “Our mission is to eradicate polio in children world wide.” Today in the year 2009 there are fewer than 60 documented polio cases in the world today because of the efforts of all in the world. A young woman in Louisville, Kentucky, several years ago injured her spine while practicing cheer leading and discovered she would never walk again. She established a foundation to help distribute used wheel chairs to children around the world who could not afford or had access to them. “There is always another Choice.”
Your mind is powerful. Your thoughts are a product of your mind. Your “Limiting Belief Self” and others will try to “Talk you out of doing what is best for you.” Listen to your Power. Go with what is inside of you. Watch for the signs that are not always obvious. Be AWARE of all the people who come into your life and the CHOICES that just appear. TAKE ACTION and see what kind of OUTCOMES ( E + R = O , Events in our lives, our Responses to these Events equal Outcomes, Jack Canfield’s “Success Principles”) are produced. Change your responses to get your DESIRED OUTCOMES. ACT IS IF your new goals are a REALITY. See it in your mind as already completed. Just remember, USE YOUR INVISIBLE POWER. “THERE IS ALWAYS ANOTHER CHOICE.”
Continue on your journey to a happy more joyful life.
