Family Dynamics Mobile Synopsis – Stan Rowett, MA., MFT, created the Family Dynamics Mobile to demonstrate graphically how the chemical dependency of one family member destroys the balance of the family and how other family members change roles, adopting survival behaviors to compensate for the chemically dependent person’s actions. Stan has over 32 years of clinical experience in the filed of chemical dependency, and has been a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage, Family and Child Therapists since 1975. Stan Rowett was on the faculty of the University of California Santa Barbara Extension for 18 years and is currently in private practice.
