Question by Jess: can a 15 year old become emancipated in Kentucky?
I live with both of my parents as of right now, i am absolutely sick of the ways that they have been treating me. i believe that i am emotionally and verbally abused at home by both of my parents. We have lost our home and are searching for a place to live. My parents, to my belief, are both alcoholics and are involved with drug usage. I have a very close friend with great parents that are willing to provide for me, send me to school, and treat me as i should be treated. Is there any way that i can legally be permitted to stay at my friends with her parents and escape from the ways of my family?
