DARE Program Comes to Departure Bay Elementary – www.ctvvancouverisland.ca http NANAIMO – Grade 5 students at Departure Bay Elementary school today got educated about the dangers of drugs, alchool and tobacco. Research has shown that students at that age are at a critical point in their life when it comes to decision making. That is why the Drug Abuse Research Education program targets Grade 5 students and offers them education and tools to avoid making poor decisions.
